This page is for players of Catch Master: Fishing Game, published by App Machina (App Machina LLC) on Google Play and the App Store. You can ask us to delete your Catch Master account and the data linked to it at any time.
How to request deletion
- Open Catch Master and find your captain code (your friend code), shown under "Your captain code" on the Friends screen. Your captain name appears in the game's Settings. If you can no longer open the game, skip this step.
- Email support@appmachina.com from any address with the subject "Delete my Catch Master account".
- In the email, include your captain code or captain name, or tell us the Facebook, Google or Apple account you signed in with, so we can find your game account.
- We delete your account and its data within 30 days and confirm by email.
Delete your Facebook data and keep playing
In the game, open Settings and tap Disconnect Facebook. This deletes your Facebook link, first name, email, friend list and stored profile photo from our servers at once, and your harbor stays with you on this device. The photo leaves our content delivery network within an hour.
Removing Catch Master in your Facebook settings (Settings & privacy, Apps and websites) deletes the same data as soon as Facebook reports the removal, the next time the game contacts Facebook.
What we delete
- Your game account and progress on our game servers (Microsoft Azure PlayFab): captain name, harbor, coins, spins, cards, pets and crew
- The Facebook, Google and Apple sign-in identifiers linked to your account
- Your name, email address and friend list
- The copy of your profile photo stored on our content delivery network
- Your push notification token
- Analytics data tied to your account identifier
What we keep, and for how long
- Purchase records: records of in-app purchases, processed by Apple or Google and validated through RevenueCat, are kept for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting. Apple and Google also keep their own store receipts under their own policies.
- Aggregated statistics: anonymous, aggregated analytics that carry no identifier and can no longer be linked to you.
- Crash reports: crash and error reports sent to Sentry carry a random install identifier. They expire on their own within the retention period in our Privacy Policy (up to 24 months for diagnostic data).
